After donation of the Millennium Time Capsule by Sandia
National Laboratory, Mayor Cathie Brown appointed local
residents to the City Millennium Time Capsule Committee.
Their task was to select items for burial in the time capsule
and plan capsule related events throughout 1999.The time
capsule was sealed at Sandia National Laboratory on
Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000.
