I am building an archive of Livermore class pictures on the
web at this URL: http://students.washington.edu/mcfann/classpics/
If you have any old class pictures, scouting pictures, or other
pictures showing Livermore kids with their friends, classmates,

I am interested in the history of the home originally built
for the Cerutti's in 1925, the house is located at 618 McLeod
St.. There son owned a auto parts store in town years ago, or
so I'm told. I am also looking for photos. I would appreciate
any help.

Nice website. I didn't know it existed. I was born in Livermore
1937, Graduated LHS 1955. Parents- Herman & Edythe Wood had the
first Boy Scout and Gir Scout troops in Livermore (1937-) Maybe
I can get you some info for you on their years in scouting in
Livermore. Keep the Heritage Society going. It's important. Masry

I just read the Heritage Guild pages on Livermore. I grew up
in Livermore, moved their in the 7th grade, graduated from Livermore
High School in 1969, married and had my children there. I moved
away in 1983, but every once in a while I return. It amazes me
how much it has grown. I work in Trinity County, and I ship some
of our medical equipment down to Livermore. Although, I do think
it was a great town when it was smaller. It's too bad all the
great places have to grow up too.

Even a town!!! My family originally came over from France, Hugano
silk Weavers. They settled in the East end of London then moved

Hi, I was born in the Old Livermore hospital in 1952. I lived
there until I was five then moved. Moved back in high school and
graduated from Livermore High 1971. Lived there from 74-78 then
had to move when they closed the Vallecitos plant where my husband
worked. Livermore is probably one of the prettist towns in Calif.
I wish I could move back there now. My brother owns the Old Town
Saloon on First Street and my 90 year old grandma lives on Livermore
avenue. HAve alot of relatives living there. Be glad you live
in such a wonderful place! I will always consider myself from
Livermore. I want to be buried there!

I enjoyed your web site, it brought back
many childhood memories. I grew up in Livermore, arriving in 1960
(father worked at the "Radiation Laboratory" or "Rad
Lab") and leaving after graduating from Granada HS in 1974.
I studied Livermore history in grade school, some of which is
coming back to me as I read through the site. Keep up the good
work.

Wonderful web site. I was born here in 1939 so really have
seen the town grow into a city. Does anyone remember my half-sister
Lorraine Bubnar? She came to Livermore around 1937. Our dad, John,
worked at the VA Hospital. She told me she remembered Carol Jean
Farmesis, of Carol Jean's Dance Studio, when Carol Jean first
started giving dance lessons. She also asked me how Fred Holdner,
Jr. was doing these days--anyone know?

Thanks
for the great section on the time capsules! What fun! It was great
to attend the three search days, see the old capsule found and
opened and be present for the burial of the new one. Watching
the reburial of the centennial capsule was good too. The events
brought people together who hadn't seen each other in years or
hadn't met before. Great fun! Good to read all about it on the
Guild web site!

sites and places in this beautiful city. The Carnegie Building,
Ravenwood Estate, The Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, The Win

I think Livermore is beautiful. The rolling
hills and good weather make it an ideal place to be..not to mention
Concannon and Wente winerys..My wife went to Livermore High and
her father worked at the "Lab" for over twenty years.
They still live on Luc ille street. I would love to retire to
Livermore if I can talk my wife into it.

Thanks for the presentation. I am from Fresno, CA but moved
to Michigan when I was a teenager. The company my husband and

area because it is not too far from several of my relatives homes
. It sounds like a wonderful community. Maybe we'll visit sometime.

I enjoyed scrolling through the messages. My great-grandfather,
Jacob Rees came to Livermore, actually Corral Hollow at to open
coal veins with his brother-in-law, Jenkin Richards, and later
opened a Harnass shop in Livermore. My great uncle, Will Re es,
was also a mayor of Livermore. I don't know the name of the newspaper,
but wonder if there is an obituary for Jenkin? He died in Oakland,
I believe in 1904.
